Light leak
Stray light leaking into the film or camera bleeds in from the frame edges as a warm or cool haze.
Visual traits
- Soft glowing patches of color enter from one or two edges or corners of the frame and fade toward the center
- The leak is warm (orange, red) on one side and may be cool (blue) on the other; the colors do not mix in the middle
- Where the leak is strongest the image burns out to a pale, almost white core
- The center of the frame stays clear, and film grain sits over the light
Prompt
Light leak: a photograph with stray light leaking into the film, a warm orange-red glow bleeding in from the left edge and a cool blue glow from the right corner, burning out to a pale core at the brightest point and fading toward a clear center, film grain over the light.
Negative prompt
lens flare streaks, bokeh balls, colored fog over the whole frame, digital gradient overlay
