# Soft edges

Visual element sample: Shape › Edges

Shape boundaries are blurred so they fade into the background.

## Visual traits
- Every boundary is blurred over roughly 3% of the frame width
- Shapes keep their overall rectangular form but have no crisp outline
- Overlapping shapes blend where their edges meet

## Prompt
Soft edges: every shape boundary is blurred and feathered over a short distance so shapes fade into the background while keeping their overall form.

## Avoid
hard edges, crisp outlines, sharp corners, vector-sharp boundaries
