# Floating cards

Visual element sample: Layout › Layering
Source: https://visual-gallery.asami.tokyo/en/styles/layout-layering-floating-cards

Cards cast soft shadows so they appear to float above the background.

## Visual traits
- Each card casts a soft shadow offset downward by about 2% of the frame width
- The shadow is blurred and low in opacity
- Cards do not overlap; the shadow alone lifts them

## Prompt
Floating cards: give each card a soft, blurred, low-opacity shadow offset downward by about 2% of the frame width, so cards lift off the background without overlapping.

## Avoid
flat cards, hard shadows, overlapping cards
